Dr. Richard Nicholas

Dr. Richard Nicholas attended school in Pennsylvania and received his undergraduate degree in 2006 from the University of Scranton. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2010. Soon after graduation, he began practicing in the Hampton Roads area, eventually opening his own practice, EdgeWater EyeCare, in 2012.

EdgeWater EyeCare now consists of two locations and has countless loyal patients who return to see Dr. Nicholas on an annual basis. Undeniably, our patient retention is attributed to “Dr. N’s” approachable energy and willingness to tackle problematic contact lens fittings, persistent red eyes or annoying dry eye symptoms. Most importantly, Dr. Nicholas care. His patients are always encouraged to participate in the conversation about their healthcare.
